I am a life long music lover. My parents were both music lovers and kindly passed their passion on to me.

One of my musical Idols, Ronnie James Dio, was diagnosed not long ago with stomach cancer. He is being treated and I am sure he’ll recover well. I grew up listening to Dio with my Dad. We listened to everything Dio from the Dio Black Sabbath days to Elf and his solo albums. I wore out many vinyl’s and a few CD’s for the love of Dio.

Well I’ve lost a lot of loved ones and through that I’ve learned to not wait until someone is gone to express your appreciation. I’m sure that Dio will never see or hear of my tiny company but I am paying tribute none the less.

One song has always had special meaning to me and I know to many others, Rainbow in The dark.

So I finally came up with a fitting tribute to an amazing musician and one of my favorite Dio songs and I crammed it into a nail polish bottle.

Rainbow in the dark is just as it sounds, a black base with an explosion

Of rainbow shimmer. The black base is pitch as night and the rainbow shimmer bursts with flashes of red, blue, green, purple, silver, pink and teal. I intentionally made the base semi sheer so that it can be layered in a single coat over other colors to add depth but in 3 thin coats alone this builds to a pitch black with gorgeous rainbow shimmer. My heart is in this one! I have taken over 200 pictures trying to capture every burst of shimmer and I will take more I’m sure.

The good the bad and the beautiful!

Bad news first, Evil Shades nail polishes are as of now discontinued.

Unfortunatly for a small company the cost of production is just too high and I will not charge what it would cost for these to not continue to cause a loss. So I will probably put out a couple of limited edition nail laquers every year just because I love creating them so much.

The good news is that I am working very hard to expand the eye shadow colors and variety of them. So keep your eyes open for new shades of Evil.

First class usps is very specific by weight and country so to offer reasonable shipping for my overseas customers I will reply to each shipping quote request personally. Please include your order with shipping quote requests so that I can give an accurate price.

After much research and making my local Post office think I am completely insane, I have found the formula to a reasonable shipping for my overseas customers.

The only down side is that My web host is not set up for calulating shipping by weight so You will need to Email for exact shipping. But it can be as little as $4.00 USD for overseas shipping and will not exceed $13.00. (you would have to order a LOT to get to this)

So I feel much better about this and am pleased to offer reasonable overseas shipping!
