I have been working on this collection for a while.

Each color is based on a creature or being from world mythology.

You can Google the names for a little lesson in Mythology. If any are not found in Google email me and I'll tell you the story or link you to it.

Yes I have noticed that 13 seems a common number around here and I assure you it is unintentinal but still funny!

I have posted swatches in the photo album to help you.

Just remember that I am not a swatching Goddess like many of you Guru's out there.

The colors are complex, even the simplest looking color will surprise you.

This is a Limited edition but also very special to me personally.

I am a life long music lover. My parents were both music lovers and kindly passed their passion on to me.

One of my musical Idols, Ronnie James Dio, was diagnosed not long ago with stomach cancer. He is being treated and I am sure he’ll recover well. I grew up listening to Dio with my Dad. We listened to everything Dio from the Dio Black Sabbath days to Elf and his solo albums. I wore out many vinyl’s and a few CD’s for the love of Dio.

Well I’ve lost a lot of loved ones and through that I’ve learned to not wait until someone is gone to express your appreciation. I’m sure that Dio will never see or hear of my tiny company but I am paying tribute none the less.

One song has always had special meaning to me and I know to many others, Rainbow in The dark.

So I finally came up with a fitting tribute to an amazing musician and one of my favorite Dio songs and I crammed it into a nail polish bottle.

Rainbow in the dark is just as it sounds, a black base with an explosion

Of rainbow shimmer. The black base is pitch as night and the rainbow shimmer bursts with flashes of red, blue, green, purple, silver, pink and teal. I intentionally made the base semi sheer so that it can be layered in a single coat over other colors to add depth but in 3 thin coats alone this builds to a pitch black with gorgeous rainbow shimmer. My heart is in this one! I have taken over 200 pictures trying to capture every burst of shimmer and I will take more I’m sure.
