Processing/Shipping times- On our main page www.evilshades.com it states our current approximate processing time. This time is only an estimate, not a guaranteed date of shipment. All orders are processed in the order received no matter how small or large, our customers are all special so we do not bump orders to the top of the Que based on size, purchase price or even ease of filling.
Return Policy- Like most small cosmetics companies we do not do returns. For both cost and sanitary reasons. We do offer samples of most products to avoid the need for returns.
Order errors- I am only human and do make mistakes occasionally. In the instance of an order missing items or receiving incorrect items, we may request a picture of the error to verify. We will always replace/correct our errors at no cost to you.
Lost/Missing and damaged packages- US packages-If your order is lost/damaged in shipping we will track the package (US only) and determine on a case to case basis. Generally we will replace lost or missing orders. If you paid extra for insurance we will cooperate with USPS in their refund policy. If you receive damaged in shipping items and your package was insured do not discard damaged items. USPS will need any damaged items for inspection in their refund policy. Uninsured packages we will determine on a case by case basis. You may request package insurance in the notes with your order. If you request insurance or any other special shipping we will invoice you for those services.
International packages- Your package will receive a customs number however it is not trackable once it has left the US. USPS does not at this time have any communication with other countries on tracking or receipt confirmation. You may request "Signature upon receipt" in the notes with your order. If you request any special shipping we will send you an invoice for the cost of those special services prior to processing. *Note: Italy orders will be limited in value and due to the ban on shipping cosmetics to Italy order at your own risk. Evil Shades is not responsible for Italian Customs refusal or fees. International orders will be shipped as merchandise with the value stated on the customs for, it is against the law to falsify a customs form and I can be fined heavily for doing so. Please be aware of your countries customs fees and taxes as you are responsible for those fees and packages returned for non payment of customs will not be refunded.
**Nasty, demanding or belligerent emails will NOT get you anywhere any faster. It will however get you banned permanently from shopping with Evil Shades. We are very well known for outstanding customer service. (Check around the internet)We try very hard to make each customer thrilled with their experience. However we do not have the time or energy to spend on hateful, bitchy and unreasonable people. Be polite and respectful and we will jump through hoops to make you happy! We love happy customers! Bloggers with entitlement issues are included in this. As much as I love bloggers (I am one myself) the fact that you are a blogger has NO affect on the speed or manner to which your order is handled. ALL orders are treated equal here from $3.00 to $3000.00, Jane Nobody to The Queen of things your order will be treated the same and filled in the order received. I do hope you understand and I appreciate your patience**
Order Cancellation- We reserve the right to cancel any order in part or in whole at our discretion. If for some reason you need to cancel your order within the first 24 hours please contact customer service and we will do so, no questions asked.
Large Orders- If you are a first time customer or a new customer and place a very large order we may require further verification to process your order. This is for your protection as well as ours. We reserve the right to limit quantities on all orders. You will be notified of any changes or cancellation in regards to your order. Large orders will have added processing time of 5-10 days. Large orders over $100.00 will ship free with tracking (US), and insurance. Non US Large orders over $100.00 will be shipped with signature upon receipt.
If ordering products that can melt or freeze please consider the weather prior to ordering. I cannot control how long USPS may leave packages exposed to the heat or cold and cannot be responsible for melted/frozen items.
Custom orders will require added processing time as well as prepayment.
**Please note that We reserve the right to refuse any order received for any reason or no reason, as we deem necessary. We also reserve the right to refund rather than replace an order or part of an order, at our discretion.
Animal testing policy
Evil Shades Cosmetics Does not condone or use any animal testing on any of the products created.
Nor are any supplies purchased from any company or Parent company that utilizes any form of animal testing.(Including the so called government required testing)
This is an area I am firm on and will not tolerate any lax in!
